Parenting is HARD!

So, I am in a bummed mood tonight. My son has been lying like it's his job lately. I try to be a good parent, but by being a good parent you have to punish and give consequences, which means you end up 'the bad parent'. ugg. I hate punishing my kids, I really do, but I hope that because I do they will grow up to be good productive little people. I really don't want my baby to ever grow up. I like the sweet innocence and the meaningful kisses and hugs. Maybe tomorrow I will be in a better mood and not have all of this guilt over trying to be a good parent. Good parenting is HARD!
