No Michelle today

Sorry Michelle groupies, lol. No Michelle today. Her hair is still growing back from the buzz cut! Don't worry though. The kids and I have some great ideas for her new 'do one it grows back!

LCS... So... did ou watch it? Did you vote? I did! Of course I voted for Josh. I just love that guy! Chris Porter too, but I have to pick one fav! I liked Roz too, but not this last time. Her yelling was giving me such a headache!! Then, the cheesy part... the prelimanary voting results! HA HA HA! The host says, "Now it's time for the preliminary voting results." (anticipation music here) Then NOTHING! "Join us next time!" I even rewound it to see if maybe one of the spot lights showed who were to two lowest were, but NOPE!! Brian and I were laughing. It was so dumb!! So, will have to watch it this week!

Jillian has been doing great with the potty training!! She will be 2 this Saturday and Yesturday she went all day on the potty! Even poo!! She just kept coming over and letting me know she had to go potty! She did have an accident on the floor in front of the potty. That was my fault though. She and Brielle wanted to do it, Brielle wanted to put heron the potty so I let them, but Brielle couldn't get her up there so she peed on the floor, lol. At least she tried though! So today she won't have a diaper on. I do put one on her a night still because she is still too young for no diapers at night. I hope today goes as well as Yesturday!

Mosquitos!!! They are BAD BAD BAD!!! There are sworms of them and even if we have bug repelant on we get bit! I hate it! The kids want to play outside but I keep hiding in here and not letting them out because they are aweful! I am going to have to buy some really good stuff for everyone to wear. I am just really scared of one of the kids getting sick from a mosquito bite.

Aidan and Avery went camping with my parents Yesturday. YAY!!! I am older kid free until tomorrow afternoon!!! YAY!! No fighting and whining and complaining and big messes!! WOO HOO!! LOL! They will have a great time too.

Anybody been watching this show? I do NOT like Brandy at ALL!!! She dislikes any girl/woman her age that does ANYTHING that may be better than her!! One of the first shows there was this old icky male stipper guy that was so icky and all he did was cover himself in glitter and shake his toosh and rub his chest with a glow stick and she LOVED him!! Then, another stipper came on, it was a girl and she HATED it even though she was WAY better than the old guy!!!
Now tonight, she just told these 3 girls who sang very well that they didn't have any chemestry and they shouldn't be wearing the outfits they had on!! Now, I think maybe the outfits were a little bit too revealing, but it's not like they were wearing them to school! They were on stage doing a show!!! UGG! I do NOT like Brandy!!! She's a TERRIBLE judge!!!!

So, we were giong to go to Six Flags today, but we decided not to now. It's going to be HOT HOT HUMID HUMID UNBEARABLY HOT today. You get that? HHHOOOTTTT!!! lol
I HATE the heat and the sun. I took the kids swimming yesturday for about an hour and I got a freaking tan!! I have tan lines!! Rediculous! I was only out for an hour and I put 30+ sunscreen on myself and the kids! I used a lot more o them than myself so they didn't get tanned thank goodness. Don't want to ruin their young skin! I am sure they will do that when they are teens, LOL! So, on the way back from swimming (we live next door to my parents and they have a big inground pool) the mosquitos were sworming!! I started running and I got bit like 7 times!! the kids didn't get bit, thank goodness. See, the kids didn't get anything huh? I did! LOL! Well, I guess I would rather have it all happen to me than them!
So anyway, off the subject, not going to Six Flags because if it's going to be THAT hot again and worse everyone at the park will be in the water part and we won't be able to get in or move if we did. With my anxiety about having to keep an eye on all of the kids at all times it would be horrible for me to be in a crowd like that!! Plus all of the walking in the heat would be bad for everyone. So, we may go swimming next door again, but I think we will chill inside the house with the air-conditioner. Gosh I hope it doesn't break! It's new from 2 years ago, but it's been running for 3 days straight because of this heat wave!! Ugg! Keep on working little air-conditioner!!

Also, I for got to say this too... Kids Say The Darndest Things! Last night Brian made Stuffed Haddock and Aidan took a bite and he said,"YUM! The insides of a Haddock are yummy!" HA HA HA!! It was so funny! Also, when Brielle is sad or upset she cries and sings. Last night she was sad because she couldn't find her binky and she was singing real sad like, "Burn baby burn, disco inferno." HA HA HA! My kids are so weird!! I love it though and wouln't have it any other way!

My very first LO as a CT!!

The was Brielle when she was 19 months old. She was so bald!! LOL! She has grown lots of crazy hair since then though. Who'da thunk it? hee hee

LCS and another free gift

So, Last Comic Standing was on last night! Do ANY of you watch it?? Anyone out there?? Well, I was suprized that Gabriel got 'kicked off'. I mean, it isn't Survivor, lol. (Which I have never seen by the way) He broke the rules of the show by sneaking phone calls to his girlfriend. Too bad, he was really funny! BUT, rules are rules! So, my fav, Josh Blue is still there, of course. I really think that it will come down to him and Chris Porter. He is my second fav. He is really funny too, and unfortunatly I think he may win, even though I am hoping for Josh.

Last night while trying to fall asleep I had a million things running through my head that I wanted to blog about and now of course I can't think of any of it! UGG! I have so many things that I want to do on here as far as designing, but I have so many things around the house that I NEED to do. I think I will do those things first. It's easy to sit and design when I am relaxed knowing I did everything around here.

So.... I made Melany Violette's CT!! I am excited about that! When I scrap I always use my own things, but i have used Melany's stuff before too. She's really the only designer that has stuff I will use for my own LO's. I am weird like that, lol. So, I can't wait to start scrapping for her!

Grow-A-Head, and What a Night!

Before I go into how crazy my night was (for me) here's an update on Mr.Grow-a-head!
First of all, it's not a Mr., it's a Mrs.!! We put some hair things in her hair, and they were pink, so the kids said it was a girl. Aidan wants to name it Michelle. I don't know why, we don't even know anyone named Michelle! LOL! So, Michelle it is! Here's Michelle sporting some very cool pink hair clips!

Now, my crazy night. I went grocery shopping with the 4 kids. Now, it's normally not bad with them because they listen and stay with me, but tonight I was trying to make a super grocery list by writing down everything that we need to buy all of the time and then the prices next to them. I am trying to cut down on our grocery spending by buying things that will last and that can be used to make many different concoctions. So, one side of the paper I am building this super list, the other side I am writing down what we have spent so far as to not go over my 'budget'. Jillian had taken a nap before we left but you would never know it! She cried halfway through the store. She did NOT want to be in the cart, so I put her down. I have anxiety so I always want the kids to stay right with me or hold hands with one of their siblings to be safe. Jillian would NOT hold hands with anyone and was just standing there not going anywhere, just crying! She's screaming that she wants 'boobop', lol. Good thing no one else in the store knows what boobop is or I would have been embarrased by that. So, because of her attitude it took a very long time in the store and I forgot some things I needed to get. I hope the cats can live without cat food tonight, LOL!
So... I really wasn't in the mood to go shopping in the first place. We had been swimming and the sun just drains me. So I just threw any old thing on myself and the kids and took off. I was thinking, "Who am I going to run into on a Monday night?" Well... I guess I was out of the loop because it seems that Monday nights are THE night to go shopping!! Aidan saw 2 friends from school and their mother's. So now their mothers think I am a scumbag and so are my kids! I have a cold so my nose looks like Rudolf. My hair is just piled on top of my head with no style to it at all because I had pool hair. I was wearing old faded, pink, high water, running pants with a wrinkled green T-shirt that says, "I'm not shy, I'm just a *itch" LOL!! It's very small writing so maybe that didn't get noticed. The kids are all in mix matched clothes, pool hair also, red stained hands and faces from their popsicles they had. I mean, can't you just picture us! Plus, I already gets looks from people normally because I do not look old enough to have 4 kids and this time was just worse! And isn't it always that when you look your worse you run into someone that you haven't seen in years!!! Well, it happened! At least it wasn't an old boyfriend or anything, lol. It was the wife of a friend of my dad that I used to babysit for. She had seen Jillian and was talking to her when I noticed who she was. I tried to smile and grab Jillian and turn around before she notcied who I was, but she was too quick! So, I talked to her a bit and I was so embarrased! She's like, "I don't know how you do it with that many kids!" I said, "Drugs." HA HA HA! I just hate that statement, as if NOT doing it is an option right? So, I finally get my grocery shopping done and realize I forgot one important item AFTER filling out the check! So, after loading the car up and packing the kids in I had to run through the bank, take money out and run into a convenient store real fast. Then, the worst part... bringing the groceries in and putting them away!!! What, you were expecting something horrible? LOL! Well, you have to agree, that IS the worst part of grocery shopping right? We didn't get home unil 7:30, and the kids hadn't had dinner yet, and the house was trashed so I had all of these 'to do's' on my mind. I hate when my day and system gets out of whack like that.
Well, now the kids have eaten, dishes done, vacumning and mopping done, table washed, diapers changed... and now it's MOMMY'S TIME!! Oh crap, I have to put them to bed still! LOL

My brother bought the kids this little guy for Christmas and I just decided to water him. MAN his hair grows fast! I took this pic last night and today his hair is even longer! Lazy Sunday Morning

Jillian is driving me nuts! She will be 2 on the 22nd of this month. I have been trying to wean her for months now. I haven't been too aggressive about it though. For over 6 months she has been nursing like a newborn. She doesn't nurse like all the other nursing toddlers I hear about. They nurse about 3 times a day. Jillian nurses ALL DAY LONG!! She WON'T take a pacifier, she uses ME as one. She eats regular food, I give her snacks throughout the day. She drinks out of regular cups and sippy cups.... it's just when she wants to nurse, she WANTS to nurse. I really want my boobs back! If I put my foot down and tell her, "It's not time right now." she will scream and cry and hyperventilate. I always thought I would do the child-led weaning so I have a hard time refusing her. I think I am just going to have to keep refusing her until she forgets all about it. It's going to be a rough few days though. AND I can't sit at the computer. When I sit in the computer chair, it reminds her of nursing. Everytime I sit here she asks to nurse. She calls them 'boobops' "I want boobop!" LOL! She just said it while I typed that! HA HA HA!! Well, I better get off of here so I can go hide from her!

Wimbeldom and re-runs!! Yes, that's right! No Soaps for momma, and no Summer Time hits this week. Phooey!! I am an NBC freak, although it sucks a lot, lol. Even Jay Leno cracks jokes about NBC. Well, He is leaving in 2008, or 2010 not sure, so he can make as many jokes as he wants. I can't WAIT until this Tuesday when Last Comic Standing comes back on!! I am loving Josh Blue! He is hilarious and I hope he makes it ALL the way!

This is the only pic could find of him. If you haven't seen the show you should watch it. It's reality TV, but comedy! It's always good to laugh! Brian works Tuesday nights so I Tivo it and then re-watch it when he gets home. Just something we like to do together.

So, last night I took the little ones outside to swing and slide on the playset. There were some chipmunks out there that were coming very close to us. We got some cereal and gave it to them. Fruit loops! hee hee. Then we walked next door to my parents house to jump on the trampoline. They have a big one for the kids. Jillian and Brielle were jumping at the same time and Jillian's knee hyperextended and she fell on her face. Poor baby. She cryed and asked for a bandaid. The kids think that bamdaids will fix anything, lol. I hyperextended my knee once on a trampoline too. When I was younger the neighborhood kids and I all 'broke' into the new gymnastics place they were building down the street, lol. Well, we didn't break in. They just didn't lock the door. So we were all jumping and I hurt my knee really bad. I told my parents I stepped on a rock and twisted it, lol. We did a lot of stupid things when we were little.

So, today it's nice out so we will be outside a lot today. I have a new kit in the works too. I started scrapping a picture last night and I just don't have the right color pink in my collection so.... time for a new kit! It's going to be a soft baby pink.. with some other colors, you will just have to wait and see!

New LO!

Meet Baby Jack! Well, he is called J.T. He is my Husband's Ex wife's new baby boy! So, Ali and Camryn (my step-daughters) have a new baby brother! He was born May 27th, same day as Brad and Anjolina's baby, LOL! (Yes, I know I spelled that wrong but I don't care enough to go and find out how to spell it, lol)
So, Brian's ex sent these pics in an email, so I saved them and made a LO with them! Don't you just love the cute little baby feet?
I used Kathy Moore's Washed, Worn, and Faded Vol. 1 for this. I LOVE this kit! The color blue is Perfect for baby boy pictures!

In other news.... MAN I have such a headache this morning! This cold just won't go away. I have been sick for almost a week. It's summer time, not winter. People don't usually get sick in the summer do they? I feel bad for hubby who is now sick and has to work a double today. I do have to get my head feeling better so I can pile the kids into the car and go deposit his check into the bank. Plus we are almost living like Mother Hubbard here again. Feels like I am ALWAYS grocery shopping! We just run out of everything so fast! I guess we don't NEED to go shopping, but there's things that we have that need another ingredient to make a meal that we are out of. Isn't that always how it goes?
Someone forgot to turn the DVD player off last night so here we are this morning, watching Narnia again. What a great movie though! I absolutely love it! If you haven't seen it, you really should! It's a classic! The kids love it and watch it almost as much as they used to watch Nemo, which is weird to me since it isn't a cartoon!
Well, I better get going. I have a few more things to finish up on here before I run to the bank. I am sure I will be back because I have some new LO ideas running in my head and I am in a scrappin' mood! :D

3rd post on the blog today and a new LO!

So, I have decided, you know what... I am going to try to blog every single day. I used to keep a diary and it helped me a lot. I have a stack of them saved so I can go back and read them one day. So, since I don't do that anymore, I will do it here!

Here's a rant too. I am going to make it quick and fast. I will know what I was talking about when I look back at this post. I just think it's quite shady.
Ok, end of my rant. My hubby is home and I gave him my cold so he is not feeling well so I am going to try to make him feel better.

Keep in mind that I am NOT a photographer. I can fix these up nicely in PS though! Also, My kids don't look all clean and spiffy and their hair is almost always never in perfect place, and their clothes are almost always dirty from food, and their faces almost always have their dinner or lunch on them, and a lot of the times you will see nakey butts at my house because we are potty training. So, don't judge! Yes, we ain't yuppys! LOL

Thinking about getting rid of the blog

I really don't feel like blogging anymore. I mean really... who really cares about my boring life. The only time anyone ever comes here is if I have a freebie. I could be blogging everyday about this that and the other thing, waisting time I could be spending time with my kids or designing but whos gonna care? No one really.
This might be my last blog post.

July 4th-
All 6 kids were here and Brian got some fireworks. Illegal in our state I have to add, and for good reason! I kept telling him to be careful, be careful.... We ended up getting 'shot at' by 3 different fireworks! We keep moving away farther and farther, but the last one tipped over and was shooting straight at our heads! The kids were scraming, I was yelling at them to duck.. it was just BAD!! We were very very lucky that no one got hurt. Next year we will be watching them from inside the house because I can't stop Brian from getting them. I did get some really cool picture of the kids with sparklers though! I haven't uploaded them yet because I have been sick. I started getting sick Monday night, along with Brielle. She woke up in the middle of the night weezing and coughing like a seal. We're both a bit better, but that was very scary for a mommy.

I made a new kit. Well, it might actually be 2 since the last time I blogged but I will just post about this newest one. It is called lighthearted. I was inspired by a LO done for Miss Mint's DNTS contest. I will have to track the lady down and give her the kit for free since she inspired me. If you know how to get ahold of her let me know!!!

So, I made some pillows! I have this big box of fabric that I had gotten over the years with intentions to make jammies and dresses and just never did. I don't sew very well and I am not into the tedious time consuming types of crafts, lol. I have made a few things but always left them unfinished. So... I decided to make pillows!! Been meaning to blog

I just have been so busy! I do have a few things to blog about so this might be my longest post ever, lol.

First of all.. Last Comic Standing!! Does anyone watch this show? I do because I am addicted to NBC, lol. It used to be the only chanel I watched before we had cable because it was the only chanel that would come in, LOL!! Now that we have TONS of chanels I still watch it even though sometimes it sucks, lol. Anyway, Last Comic Standing... I have watched every season of that show since it started and this year is great! I have 3 favorites but the one guy I like the bestest is Josh Blue!!




This guy is HILARIOUS!! He's even funny when not on stage, unlike most of them. The other 2 I like are

I know there will only be one winner but I hope they can all get something out of this show, they are so funny!!

Second... America's Got Talent... I like watching the acts but they didn't show enough and it was even a 2 hour show!! Crazy!! I think they focused more on the judges which pissed me off. I don't really like Brandy. I didn't have an opinion of her until last night watching this show. She would make the other 2 judges say what they thought first so she wouldn't have to be the one to turn anyone away. THEN she and Landon voted that 80 year old stripper man through!! The guy with the freaking saw had more talent then him!! Brandy turned around and couldn't even watch him strip but then tells him that he is HOT!?!? EWWW! This is suppossed to be 'nice' TV!! All he really was doing is standing there with a freaking glow stick, covered in glitter and a bad tan and saggy old man skin wiggling his bum! What is so talented about that? I mean ANYONE can shake their stuff like that!! UGG!! So, I like the acts, but not so much the judging, lol.

Third... Our neighbor is a theif!! He keeps coming over through the woods into our yard and stealing the kids rubber balls!! This theif is.. our neighbors DOG!!! The little turd steals!! I tried yelling and clapping at him and he DOES run away, but makes sure he gets away with the ball! I made him drop it because I scared him, but he picked it up again and ran! It's funny I guess, but the kids are getting upset. You would think that the neighbors would start wondering where these balls are coming from right? LOL! Stupid Dog!

Last... School is out. I picked the kids up today from their last day of school. Avery was crying because she will miss her Kindergarten teacher. We have put her in the Pre-1st program so she will be a year behind and going on a different bus than her brother. I had been picking them up from school because of problems on the bus but I am hoping this coming year will be problem free because it will be a BIG pain to pick 2 kids up at different schools. I also want to put Brielle into pre-school. She is so smart, smarter then my older 2 were at her age so I think she will totally benefit from it. It's just SO expensive though. I guess I will have to save my pennies!
Well, that's it I think!

Finally had the time and the guts...

but I couldn't get it done. Cutting my hair that is. I wanted to get it cut and donate my hair to Locks of Love. I went in today to do it. The girl told me that I would have to have 2 inches cut off of the bottom before she could start measuring because I had colored my hair before. I haven't colored it in almost 2 years. So after she put the pony tial in to measure and didn't count the 2 inches, she would have had to cut it to my neck!! I couldn't do it. That's way too short. She said she could still cut and styl of course, but I thought that would just be a waist so I didn't. Brian said I should still get it cut too, but I think that wuld be selfish. i would like to get a cut and new style. I haven't gone to a hair dresser since my 8 year old son was 3 months old!! Brian says I deserve to do something nice for myself every once in a while and that doing it wouldn't be selfish but I just keep thinking that I would feel bad if I didn't get to donate my hair. What if there is a long waiting list of people that want hair? I mean, if they had an abundance of donations then I wouldn't hesitate, but I don't know. Also, the deer have been eating our flowers and I could save the hair to put in the garden to keep the deer out, lol, but I want to donate it. So, here I sit with a head full of un-styled over grown hair, lol. I took a before pic today thinking I was going to get it cut....


So, what do you think? Should I get it cut for myself? I would like it done. Showers would not take as long, I would feel better and with the hot weather here now I would feel cooler. Or should I wait until it is long enough to donate? Tell me your thoughts! I would love to hear them!

Weird enlightening day

So I went to the doctor Yesturday. It was a follow-up appointment for an appointment I had before. My doc had prescribed me Wellbutrin. I had a BAD reaction to it and decided not to take it again. It made me feel stupid and depressed. My kids would be right next to me talking to me and it would take me a minute to figure out what they were saying. I had to drive just next door and I sat there after I stopped the car trying to remember what to do next. I mean I couldn't even remember that I had to put the carin park and take the key out! Then I got really depressed and just wanted to lay there and cry fo no reason at all. I HATED it and just couldn't fathom getting up the next day and swallowing that pill to do that to myself again. So I asked my doc to give me something different. First of all, Wellbutrin is an anti-depressant. I was going to take it to quit smoking. It's a BAD BAD habit that I NEED to quit. I have anxirty though so that was a bad pill for me, lol. Anyway, I got talking to my doc about how my anxiety has gotten worse. I was explaining the thoughts that go on in my head and the weird little things that I do. I was totally convinced that even though I had irrational thoughts I still had this under control. She told me I didn't, that it was controlling me. Then she told me I have OCD too. I knew that I had weird things that I did but I didn't think of myself having OCD. I just thought I was weird! LOL! I have these crazy irrational fears of something bad happening to me or the kids. I obsess abou them too and they have made me change things. Like.. I won't get into my car without making sure no strange men are near...I won't wash the big kitchen knives because every time I hold one I just picture it slipping out of my hands when a kid is standing next to me.... while I am driving I am constantly turning around and counting the kids to make sure they are all there because what if I left one at home or at the store, even if I just checked 60 seconds ago!! There's other weird little things I think and also do. So, it's weird to me thinking that I have OCD. It's mild I guess. I mean I have heard of bad OCD and I don't consider myself bad. So now I am on a new med, just for anxiety. I asked her if it was something that I couldn't just stop taking or had to wean off from later on because what if I lost my insurance or what if the healthcare system should 'crash' and I couldn't get the pill anymore.... Yah, anxiety, LOL!! She laughed. So I took it and it didn't give me that BAD feeling the other one did. I am excited about this. I think it may help me quit smoking too just because I don't have a physical addiction, it's more of a mental one. I only smoke like 2 packs a week. I just smoke as habit, or when I am bored, or when I am anxious or thinking those crazy thoughts. I talked to my mom last night too and found out a lot of these things that I have run in the family and I didn't even know it! let's see... just what I have... colitis, diverticulosis (didn't know you could have both), ADD, anxiety, OCD.. MAN I am messed up! LOL!
So, I wanted to type that out here in my 'little online diary' because getting it out does feel better. I am a little hesitant to post it for the public to read because some people may judge, but I also think some people may understand and relate so I will post it. Well, I am off to work on my new Digi-Dazzlers! Gems you can add to your LO's!! Here's a peek of one of them. I am doing a whole alphaset too!!

I have no title for this post, lol. I am sitting here with my Skor bar and cup of tea typing one handed because my other hand is all chocolatey, lol. I love my Skor bars!!!
Today was good day. I think the aliens have left my kids bodies finally. They are behaving normally again. Maybe it was the bribes though. I do like to think of them as incentives, not bribes, lol. Everyone does better with incentives! Avery gets some money here and there for helping me out. Aidan is going to get a new CD with his fav music. Brielle likes to get money too. Jillian is just Jillian and still too little to understand the value of money.
I made grilled cheese sticks for dinner. The kids like to soak their sandwiches in their tomato soup so tonight I cut them into sticks for easier dunking. It really cut down on the usual mess! It drives me nuts when they eat their dinner and immediatly ask for a snack, lol. They say they are full and don't want to finish their dinner, but they have room for a snack!! LOL
I have a new CT member! Andrea C! You can check out my CT page at my site for more info on her. One of my CT members stepped down because she was feeling overwhelmed and Andrea just popped in! LOL! She is pretty well known in the digi-scrapping world. I love her LO's and can't wait to see what she does with my creations!
Tonight is Sunday.. Brian and I usually watch Sopranos and Big Love but the season finallies were last week so we can't do that tonight. :( It's our 'date' night, lol. I think there is a new show starting during that same time slot on HBO so I guess we will chack that out. I think I might have withdrawls waiting all summer for the next season of Bog Love though. I LOVE that show!!

Random Thoughts

My cat caught and ate a squirrel today. She ate the whole thing except for 2 feet and the tail. EWW!!

Hershey's Skore bars are YUMMY!! I like to dip them in my hot tea and lick the chocolate off and then eat the rest. YUM!!!

Being tired sucks!!! Sometimes I think I should buy some toothpicks to keep my eyes open!!

Quitting smoking is hard. Wellbutrin gave me a bad reaction so I am not doing that anymore. I think the right mindset and will power will work.

My kids have been taken over by aliens. They used to be the nicest most polite little people I know. Now they fight with each other, are selfish and back talk. When will the aliens leave? I think Aidan has 2 aliens in his body!

Brad and Anjelina. *sigh* You see how much I care? I don't even know how to spell her name, lol. They say pics of their baby are worth millions. They are calling the baby Brangelina. Well, if Brian and I were famous like that they would call our baby Brielle. Oh wait, we already named our first that, LOL!!

I want to have a contest for you digiscrappers but can't think of a fun one. I can think of prizes, but I want the contest to be fun. Any ideas? Post 'em here and if I pick yours you will win a prize just for me picking your idea!!

So, the Diva Double that I made with Amber is done and will be in the store with in the next few days!!! YAY!!! This kit is HUGE and only $6.99!!! It's 110MB worth of digi-scrapping goodies!! In other news.... Aidan had a great B-day party. We got him a stereo/CD player for his room. He really loves it. It was supossed to be a pool party but it rained all day. The kids had fun anyway. We played some games with balloons and listened to music.

I have been so busy around the house making it nice that I haven't designed at ALL!! Well, I did stop a little bit to finish a Diva Double that I was working on with Amber. It's a fun festive summery kit too! No teaser for you yet, but I beleive it will be up soon! I will keep you all updated!

My son is turning 8!!

A Clean House

Nothing makes me feel better than having my house clean. I have been keeping up with it and keeping it clean, but there was so much clutter that even when I knew it was clean, no one else could tell, lol. So, I have been slowly junking the clutter and it looks great! I threw away bags and bags of stuff and toys and things. Being organized really is good for the mind!! The only thing I wonder about is... why is it when I ask the kids to clean a room they throw everything in that one room into another and say, "It's clean!" Yah, they are right, that room is clean, but now I have to clean that other room now because that stuff is in there now. I should have just cleaned the first room in the first place if I wanted it done right! But wait!! Why do I have to clean that second room? I am not the one who throw all of that stuff in there! So sorry kids, but now you have to do that one too, LOL!!
I love days like this though.... Clean house and kids getting along helping each other make ants on a log for a snack. Makes me feel like a good mom!
Brian and I got the air-conditioner in the other night. We had to straighten up the front porch to get it in. We have had x-mas lights up on the porch for like almost 2 years. We just left them up, yes, we're bad, LOL! So, we were going to take them down that night. We wondered if they even worked so I plugged them in and YES! LOL! They worked!! hee hee. So, it was really nice sitting on the front porch with the soft glow of the x-mas lights and warm spring air! We just kept laughing and laughing every time someone drove by wondering what they must be thinking of us!! We had a good time laughing with each other. I really don't care what people think. What matters is that my husband and I had a fun time giggling at our 'redneckness'. hee hee

So I just got a PM from someone telling me that she has posted comments but it told her that it had to be approved before it would show. All along I was thinking noone loved me! LOL! So, somehow that setting got changed. They used to show up without approval. Stinking blogger glitch!! Well, it's all fixed now! I still feel stupid, but at least I feel stupid AND loved! LOL!

Another new kit!

Birthstone Gems!!

I spent all day making these! I am super proud and I think they are perfect!! They are clean and crisp, no blurriness! (except for the opal which is suppossed to be like that)

Slime, ick!

Nickelodeon should really put a disclaimer on their slime:
Warning...
1.Will take tons of elbow greese to get off of the simplist of surfaces.
2.Bottle will leak if not upright and kids will never leave it so.
3.If you use a sponge to clean up slime, expect to spent another hour under the faucet trying to get slime out.
4.Slime easily pours out of bottle, but be prepared to get mad when trying to put slime back in. We suggest doing this when children are not present because swear words will most likely be spoken.
5.Even after you have cleaned and thrown away slime, months later you will still find dried slime remnants in the most unusual places that escaped from your view.

I think that about covers it! Camryn got this stuff for her b-day back in January and her mom would not let her play with it. They have carpets so I can understand. I told her she can bring it up here and play. BIG mistake!!! Oh well, live and learn right? lol.

I have decided to retire my Happy Friends series. It's just that my style has changed since then and I really struggled with the last one. So, they will be up until the end of May at 50% off, so grab them while you can!!

In other news, my Mother's Day was good. The kids gave me cute little things they made at school, I made myself some shrimp parmesan lunch and we had our family favorite, TACOS, for dinner!! Brian bought me some pretty flowers and I put them in a vase. I also snoozed on the couch and the kids actually let me by behaving and getting along with each other! YAY!
Not much else is going on, pretty boring here. Same old stuff, just a different day, yadda yadda, blah blah blah..... I wish I was more interesting, maybe that' why I keep forgetting to blog. Maybe I can find some things to blog about, eventually, lol.
Oh, one thing to blog about.... this friend of mine made me mad! She asked uf if we wanted her old couch for the kids playroom. I said I would take it, but I have no way of getting it. She says, "Oh, my hubby will bring it, no problem!!" So, she calls Brian like 3 weeks later and says if we don't go and get it it will be gone. This is AFTER I ALREADY got rid of the one that WAS in there!!!!!! So.... the kids have no couch now, and we can't afford to get a new one. #$%*!*$&#! (That's me swearing) This is the SECOND time she has done this sort of thing this MONTH!! Well, we invited them over for a B-B-Q. Her, her hubby nad her 2 kids. The first time she said no because her hubby didn't want to. Hey, that's fine, I really don't mind. She said let's make plans for next Saturday. Ok I say, sure, that's great because all of the kids will be here that day! So, we go out and buy lots of food and drinks and chips and all that crud. She ends up not coming. She says it's because her daughter didn't want to and was throwing a fit. Ok, that's fine, but why don't youleave that daughter home with hubby and bring the other one over with you? No, no, can't do that because hubby would be mad because it's one of his only days off and he wants to see me.... *&!$(!%&!$ (me swearing again) Brian only gets ONE day off a week and I don't complain!! This was the only other weekend that MONTH that the kids were going to be there!! UGG UGG UGG! So, she hadn't called since then, until she said the thing about the couch and hasn't called since that.
So, that's my bloggin' for today. Blogs are like diaries huh? You get it out, feel better and people like to snoop and see what you're writing? That's what I think ;)

A Day of Hurt Feelings

Well, I have had a bad day. Nothing seriously BAD or anything, but just not a good day. First, my hubby told me I could sleep in today. See, we have this deal.... I let him sleep in on Mondays and Thursdays because those days he doesn't have to be into work until later, and on Saturdays he lets me sleep in. Well, we stayed up late last night, like usual. Instead of getting up with the kids and letting me sleep in, he layed in bed while they played in their rooms. Well, any mom knows that when you kids are up and doing God knows what and being loud and arguing you can't sleep. So, he did take them down stairs eventually, but woke me up 1/2 an hour later telling me we had to go to Aidan's baseball game because it wasn't cancelled because of the rain like we thought it would be. So I only had a little time to get ready. No shower, no breakfast, no sleeping in. So, on the way to the baseball game and the first 1/2 hour of being there my hubby was snapping at me, for no reason! Over anything!! That pissed me off!! He did apologize later, but still!!! So, I took the little ones to the playground to play to get away from him. My ex was there too and insulted me. He thought he was making a joke, but I didn't find it funny. See, some of the kids were late and they didn't have enough players yet and he said that maybe the adults would have to play. I said, "I was just thinking that, it would be fun!" Then he says he, his wife, and my hubby could play. I said, "what about me?" Well, you can sit on the bench. I have more confidence in our abilities in baseball more than yours." What an a-hole. It hust that he said that. I have been hearing those things all of my life; you're not good enough, there's something wrong with you, why can't you just do this, why can't you just do that..... I hear it from my hubby still too but he doesn't even know he is doing it!!
Anyway..... so at the playground I had to fight with the kids because they were tired and cranky, miss Aidan's game, freeze my bumm off because it was cold out....
We went to McD's to get lunch after the game and they messed up my order. We got it to go so I didn't notice until I got home.
Then, I told Aidan he couldn't go to his friend's houes because I wanted to spend time with him. Well, he wouldn't let it go so I got mad and said, "Fine, go. I don't care anymore what you do." (I never give in to him, but really at that point I didn't care) So, he went. Then 45 minutes later comes back and says he and his friend got into a fight so he had to come home. Ugg.. Then this is the worst part...... The present he made me in school for Mother's Day... Aidan told me he wants to give it to his step-mom. That hurt my feelings. I know he's only 7 and I should 'let it go' which I have to him, I didn't say anything, but it still hurts inside. They didn't even want to be here this weekend, they wanted to go to their dads because everytime they go there he buys them something. Brian has to work ALL day long, so I will be cooking my own dinner, cleaning up after it, dealing with un-happy kids because they'd rather be at their dads. Ugg Ugg Ugg, I just want to cry.

Second... I kept the kids home from school today. There have been rumors going around the community that a group of High Schoolers are gong to kill the people they don't like at school today. The police have gotten involved, questioned some students, found nothing (say the reports say) and there will be police at the school today. My kids go to the Elementary School, which isn't connected to the High School, but close to it. So, most likely nothing will happen, BUT I kept them home. IF something were to happen I would just kick myself!! If something happened and no one got hurt, there would still be a school lock-down and who knows how long they would be stuck there. So, I guess I am just being safe. Having the knowledge that something 'might' happen and not doing anything about it, just telling yourself that nothing will happen and then having something happen after all would just be BAD!! So, I think I did the right hting, right? Maybe I am being paranoid, or over protective, but that's my job as a mom right? To pretect them from potential danger? Well, they're home anyway, I guess it doesn't matter. It's a nice day, I should send them outside, lol.
