I had nothing to do during the power outage but think of color schemes, lol! I came up with this, and when the power came back on I started it. The color purple and flowers are some of Brielle's favorite things. I used the kit to make 5 pages of Brielle's 3rd birthday. She turned 3 in January. Here's 2 of the LO's made with this kit:

I need to get her another albumn. I have one of her first year, but nothing to put all of these other LO's in. Guess I better do some online shopping!

Counting my lucky stars!!!

So, today we had rain, thunderstorms and a HUGE wind storm!!! I had been having nightmares the past few night about my children and things happening to them that I was helpless to control. I have anxiety. I refuse to take the meds, so I control it the best I can. Anyways.... today something happened. Brielle and Jillian were playing together on the floor, a few feet away from the window, straight in front of it. I hear this LOUD BANG right over by them. I ran over, scooped them up and took off into the other room. I did this so fast, after I scooped them up, there was a lot more noise too. What happened was, a HUGE tree broke and crashed into our house!!! I was shaking so bad!! They were right in front of the window, and exactly where the tree came down!!! The glass could have broke all over them, a tree branch could have came in on them!!!! LUCKILY all the tree did was mess up our roof a bit, and brake some siding. It could have been WAY worse, and I am so thankful that it wasn't. Then, our power went out. It was out from 12-9. My older 2 went with their dad this weekend. He got out of work early because of the storm, so he picked them up from school. The kids school lost power too. From what I have gathered on the news, about 250,000 customers in NY lost power, some still without. I took my youngest ones to my parents house for the night. They have a fireplace and a generator, so it was better there. When I came back home, the temp was 50 in the house. It's warmed up now though. I am so tired. All that adreniline running through me wore me down!! The wind was just whipping, and I was so scared that another tree was going to come down into the house, because trees was coming down all over. Lots of houses lot roofs, trees smashing through houses. A man lost his life while driving because a tree fell on his truck. So, I am so thankful tonight that we got through the storm fine. The house needs a little fixing up, but that is fine with me, since I know it could have been a LOT worse. I will be hugging my kids a little bit harder from now on.

Look at my new toy!

I got this in the mail yesturday. I started to play with it tonight.

I feel like a little kid just trying to get used to a computer mouse!! I know it will take some time, but my wrist kind of hurts because I am trying to use it like my computer mouse, lol! It is really neat, it's just with my regular mouse, if I am on the bottom of the screen, I can lift the mouse and re-position it on the pad, but this you can't you have to move to the top, so I have to use more wrist movement. MAN I AM LAZY!! HA HA HA!!!!

Had to cheer myself up

I had a bad night.... I am feeling upset hurt and lonely. I really don't want to get into details. I am sure everyone has had those days and times like this so it's ok to say that I do too. Not everything can always be peachy keen right? Let's just say, hubby is in the doggy house. I wanted to do something to cheer myself up so I made this LO:

I am very happy with how it came out. It came out better than I had it pictured in my head. Usually for me it's the opposite, lol. I used my Sugar and Spice kit and Shabby Princess Colorful Corners, recolored to black. I also scraplifted the circle photo idea from looking at a LO by ScrapHappyME at Shabby Princess entitled OOPS. Comments welcomed! TFL!

No offence to any other nice people out there, it's just no one else talks to me! *SNIFF! LOL So, I just wanted to say Thank You and that you really are a great friend and I am proud to call you my friend! Although I am not saying who you are as to not embarass you! HA HA HA!

On a 'side' note, this is a LO I made today:

I took the pics today and HAD to use this kit! It's Sorbet Blossoms by Melany Violette. I just love the stitching and I had a hard time choosing which flowers to use because they are all so pretty! If you look to the left under 'fav designers' you will find Melany's site.

Well, that's enough rambling for now. I have to start getting my little one to bed and get the other ones to calm down for the night!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Well, today was a nice day. I bought the kids some stuffed animals and candy. They were excited. I also made a scrap page for my hubby.

I used CottageArts.net Dots-A-Fun Downloadable Page Pak Freebie. He bought me some balloons and roses and candy. I think this was the most he has ever done for me on Valentine's Day, LOL! He's a sweet-heart! He also brought me home some crab-legs for dinner. YUM!! Well, I have a surprize! It's a freebie! I am going to send it to the first 5 people to post a comment on this post! No one has ever commented on my blog, *cry*! So, here's an incentive to post, so I will feel special, LOL!! It's going to be a scraplet from one of my kits. Exciting News!

So, I have been very busy making some new kits. I have made 2 bright, fun kits, and then 13 mini-kits! (Yes, that was 13!!!) Also, exciting news... I will be selling at ACOT! I am super excited to be one of the awesome designers selling at that site. Here's some previews of the 2 kits that will be sold exclusively at ACOT:

Ok, so I was having this conversation with my husband the other night, so I did a little search and here's what I found:

Information:

A blog is often a mixture of what is happening in a person's life and what is happening on the Web, a kind of hybrid diary/guide site, although there are as many unique types of blogs as there are people.
People maintained blogs long before the term was coined, but the trend gained momentum with the introduction of automated published systems, most notably Blogger at blogger.com. Thousands of people use services such as Blogger to simplify and accelerate the publishing process.
Blogs are alternatively called web logs or weblogs. However, "blog" seems less likely to cause confusion, as "web log" can also mean a server's log files.

So Many Photos, So Little Time!!!

So, on top of the 100's and 100's of digital pictures I have to scrap, I developed 10 rolls of film yesturday. This film is about 4-5 years old!!! So, now I have MORE pictures to scrap, and it seems there is just not enough time in the day!! I guess I should focus on one thing at a time. First things first; SCANNING THEM ALL IN!!! AHHHH!!! Anyone else feel like they need to clone themselves to get done everything they want to get done!?
This is one pic That I LOVE that was in the film. This is my older 2 kids and Brian's older 2 kids the year they all first met. They met in Dec. 01, this pic was taken Sept. 02. They look like babies to me! Brielle was in my belly. She's 3 now! YIKES!

Where is Winter?

February 1st! Another month closer to spring, but where was winter? I am in NY and we have had hardly any snow, but we HAVE had warm weather! We got to go snowmobiling once, but the next day the snow was mush! Anyone know where winter went?
